"Schengen"

In my previous posts, I use the Chinese term "深耕" (literally means "deep plowing") as a transliteration for "Schengen". But it turns out the official transliteration is "申根", which literally means "extending the root". In terms of transliteration, I would say they're both fine, since they all both similar to Schengen. But in terms of the literal meaning, "extending the root" is probably better than "deep plowing"? :p

忽然發現 Schengen 應該是翻譯成 "申根" (extend the root) 而不是 "深耕" (deep plowing) :p
其實是取音譯, 但是似乎 extending the root 感覺比 plowing deep 來得有道理?
